Privacy Policy

We collect the personal data you give us directly, and a small amount of technical data as you browse:

• Name, email address, and phone number, when you create an account or place an order.
• Delivery address, when you add it to your account or enter it at checkout.
• Payment reference, when you pay through Paystack. We do not collect or store your card, bank, or USSD details ourselves.
• Support messages, when you contact us through the contact form, email, or WhatsApp.
• Basic browsing behaviour on our site (pages viewed, general device and location information), used to keep the store working correctly and to understand how it is used.

We use your data to:

• process and fulfil your orders, including sourcing and delivery,
• communicate with you about your order status and account,
• provide support when you contact us,
• and improve the store based on how it is actually used.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles or sell it on.

All payments are processed by Paystack. When you pay, your card, bank, or USSD details go directly to Paystack, not to us. We only receive a payment reference confirming whether the payment succeeded, which we use to move your order forward. Paystack's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.

We share the minimum data needed to get your order to you:

• your delivery address and phone number with our logistics and courier partners, so they can deliver your order,
• your payment reference with Paystack, to verify and confirm payment.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not share it for their marketing purposes.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Order records (including items, pricing, and delivery details) are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes, even after an account is closed. Support messages are kept until the matter is resolved and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you need to follow up.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by writing to admin@splendidluxe.ng. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information, but we keep your order records in anonymised form, as we are required to for accounting and legal reasons.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your device-local cart. This cookie is essential to how the site works. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
